Not to be missed in London SW7…

The Natural History Museum exhibits and documents our natural world, including plants, minerals and fossils, animals and dinosaurs. It is the museum’s collection of dinosaur bones which make it particularly famous, and the large diplodocus cast that greets visitors in the entrance hall. This extensive collection, including specimens collected by Darwin, is set within an equally impressive ornate 19th century building. A great day out for both adults and children; admission is free.

The London Science Museum, founded in 1857, is an interactive museum documenting all aspects of Science. Highlights include The Exploring Space Gallery complete with rockets and space landers. There are interactive exhibits for all ages; admission is free.

The Victoria and Albert Museum, founded in 1852, holds the world’s largest collection of decorative arts and design. Explore the cultures of the world through their art, furniture and clothing. Highlights include the Ardabil carpet, from Iran, thought to be one of the largest carpets in the world.

Shopping doesn’t get any more luxurious than a trip to Harrods. Spread over seven floors, you can buy anything here from customised ice cream to puppies.
