Not to be missed in London EC3…

Leadenhall Market is a covered market in Gracechurch Street, dating back to the 14th century. Stalls are open Monday to Friday, selling primarily food as well as jewellery and art.

This financial district is home to two of London’s most famous modern skyline buildings, St Mary’s Axe, better known as The Gherkin and Tower 42.

St Paul’s Cathedral is one of London’s most recognisable buildings, dating back to the 18th century. Sightseeing is available Monday to Saturday, 8.30am till 4pm.

The Barbican Arts Centre is home to a range of dance, visual art, music and theatre events and exhibitions. Check the box office for current showings.

A trip to this part of London wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Tower of London, dating back to 1066, and a look at the Crown Jewells. Wander over Tower Bridge for some fantastic views of the city, ending up walking along the river past the HMS Belfast.
